The crew worked very hard. The boat and gear was in very good shape and clean. The food was excellent. The cooler was full.  One thing that we noticed fishing in Costa Rica is there is not many boats that have a dock slip. This may or may not be a problem for people, but getting in and out of a water taxi when the surf is crashing can be tough.  Papi’s boat has a dock slip.  We highly recommend fishing with them if around flamingo.

The crew and Carlos were absolutely incredible today! We caught 5 mahi, a wahoo and 2 Bonita! Saw dolphins, a sea turtle, manatees, blue marlin and brought a sailfish to the boat! It was the best fishing day we’ve ever experienced!

We had a beautiful day fishing on flamingo Costa Rica with papi chulo.  Take the full day option and go out for the full day.  Today we reeled in 7 sail fish and a trophy mahi mahi.  Do it. You will be glad you did

The captain and crew worked all day changing lures, bait, teasers, we did not get a sailfish to bite, but they did everything right. We stopped on the way back in, they put us enough grouper to feed our families (9 people) for 2 days. Would recommend this experience to anyone. I’ve been sport fishing dozens of times, this crew worked hard and knew what they were doing.

We fished with Captain Willy and Mate Joshua and had a great day. We hung into 2 blue marlin, and 1 big 350lb black marlin that was 122” long. We also caught 7 mahi mahi. The lunch provided was also very good. Highly recommend these guys if you are looking for a guide out of Marina Flamingo.
