This trip was a fun activity my siblings and I took. The captain was great and super helpful, took the time to show us the islands around and even got to see spider monkeys and dolphins. I recommend to make this part of your itinerary.

The boat its ok, grear fishing experience

Started with the ad has a map that shows the location pinpoint at Los Suenos, which is where we were staying. Went out and found out the boat was in Puntarenas, an hour and a half away. We Ubered there and back and were very late, of course. When we arrived the boat was nothing like the pictures - small (even for bottom fishing). very old and no cover at all. Captain wasn’t “mike”, we have to wait for more than 1 hour to start the trip, the boat is not the best and it wasn’t full equipped, “no snacks” and rotten fruit sincerely not recommended.
