We had a great day of very active fishing with Kings hitting everything we threw out. We could barely get the bait in the water before another 12-30 pounder was on the hook. Captain Steele runs a top notch operation.  His communication was great, and he was very attentive to our needs and preferences.  Pick up and drop off at BHI were perfectly on time.  We went 25 miles out, which was tough on a couple of our teenagers who were taking their first trip this far out, but not much to be done about that!  We had decent success trolling as well as bottom fishing.  It was clear that Steele would have offered to cancel if conditions weren’t good.  This charter... Better fishing than we ever could’ve dream honestly, Steele is super knowledgeable and in touch with what’s biting. It took maybe 20 seconds of the first bait hitting the water before I was on a 40 lb king. We caught 20 fish within a couple hours. We’ll definitely be calling him again soon.

Capt Steele made us feel welcome and, by the end of the day, as if we had been friends for a long time.  He was VERY knowledgeable and made it his mission to ensure we caught fish on a day when they weren’t biting and other captains were having the same luck. We are eating our catches as I type this.
