This fishing trip was everything I wanted it to be and more! I would recommend Captain Justin to anyone regardless of experience with fishing. We caught a lot of different fish Mutton snapper, Mangrove snapper, Goliath grouper. My 11yr grandson wanted to catch a barracuda and Capt. Justin delivered.  Will definitely go back!

We arrived in Key West via cruise ship so we wanted a quick trip so we could still enjoy the town before leaving. Tony was our Captain for our 2hr trip and we were on fish within 15 minutes of leaving the dock. Learned some new light tackle techniques and had a blast catching several types of Snapper and Grouper. Even caught a small Baracuda! Afterwards, Tony cleaned our catch and we took it into the Mellow Cafe’ right at the dock where they cooked our fish into some delicious fresh fish tacos! Tony was super friendly and knowledgeable, would highly recommend booking with Good Times!

Had an absolutely great time fishing with my father, with the intention of possibly eating our couch for lunch after the trip. This is exactly what happened, in the smoothest way possible, not to mention the most deliciously prepared grilled fish tacos we’ve ever had! We were hooked on with some huge fish, nurse shark, stingray, and some other monsters that simply won the battle. But the ones we got in the boat were the ones we wanted and the captain worked extremely hard to get us on those fish! Much appreciate! The captain also recommended the mellow café for preparation of our catch, which happens to be right where the charter takes off and returns from. Could not be more convenient or a better experience honestly.

If you’re looking for a short excursion just to spend some time on the water, get a different view of Key West, and catch a few fish, I’d highly recommend the 2 hour outing with Good Times Key West. Nate served as our captain. A good conversationalist (especially after discovering we were both from the upper Midwest) and he put us on some fish. He even snagged (and obviously released) a nurse shark which was quite the experience. Our catch was mullet snapper and some small, yet very picturesque yellow tail. It would have been nice to have a café or restaurant very close by to cook the catch for lunch. My only recommendation to the Captain is to add some paper towels or rags to the equipment list. Overall, would highly recommend the 2 hour outing on the Good Times Key West.
