Capt Jason is from the area, very familiar with the water, friendly, down to earth and very easy to spend time with on the water. I am somewhat experienced, myself but learned several new things about catching live bait in the area and more of the local knowledge. The grouper weren’t grabbing the bait as fast as the “elusive” red snapper but it’s always fun to wrestle a hoss. We were a party of three on the half day charter starting at 7am.The waters were crazy in the morning, but Jason adjusted fire quickly to get us on the fish fast. The first fish caught, within moments of dropping anchor, opened the flood gates for many fish to follow. Jason ensured the hooks were baited quickly and made sure the playlist was on point.We will definitely be rebooking…
