We had a great time out on the water with Capt. Mike. I explained to him it was our first time fishing in years, let alone a nearshore experience! We caught a variety of fish but got to take home some snapper to cook up after our trip for lunch! We saw a dolphin, variety of birds and a manatee! He took us to a few different spots as well so we could try to catch ‘em all! We had a great day as well as Capt. Fishing in Florida was on my “to do” list for this vacation and I am so happy I decided on Captain Michael Blecher’s 4 hour river trip!  We caught several varieties of fish and I even got “snookered”!  (Hooked a big Snook and before I could reel him all the way to the boat, he jumped up in the air, flipped his head and spit out the hook!). Coming back along the river the sunset was a stunning sight.  I’ll be back for another run with this captain and crew!
