My wife, son and I had a great time with Capt. Valerie, great equipment and a very knowledgeable Capt. I would highly recommend this charter for anyone who wants to get put on fish.

Captain worked really well with our kids. She put us in numerous areas of fish for the kids to catch. Would recommend and will use service again.

We had a lot of fun during our trip, catching lots of fish and having a great time with each other. Our guide was also very nice and made sure we had an experience to remember.

We recorded 60 releases on live and artificial baits. The majority were medium sized up to 6 pounds or so.

This guide is tough, hard working, meticulous, passionate about fishing and maintains a very calm demeanor.  Perfect for someone that doesn’t get to fish often, like me.  Probably more so for someone that does.  Val gladly answered every question I asked, gave my a quick class on reading the electronics and showed me how to rig the baits we used, and a lot more.  Most importantly, she can put you on fish, LOTS of them.

On the phone, while setting up the trip, Val praised Headwaters Lake and said the conditions might be right for a fun, 40 fish day. She was right, and then some.

When I arrived at the ramp I asked what I could do to help and was told “just prepare to have fun”.  Val did everything that could be expected, she didn’t stop working until the boat was back on the trailer.  Most importantly, Val gratiously explained what to expect and what to do before we started.  I felt right at home on her boat.

Can’t wait to do it again.
