Took my three grandsons (11, 10, 7) fishing with Captain Earl and we had an outstanding time.  Captain Earl took every moment to teach the boys the in’s and out’s of fishing.  As a result, we caught fish all day long, boys almost got tired of catching fish.  Captain put us on the Walleye and the rest was history.  These memories will be discussed at the Thanksgiving table for years to come!!!!

Our started at 7 am sharp. Myself, my 17 year old son and two of his buddies from highschool came along. The four of us had never charted a fish trip on Lake St. Clair before, so we were really not knowing what to expect. Captain Earl gave a brief description of what we were going to do. He gave us detailed safety tips, for the event of an emergency. That was important as I am responsible for the three 17 year-olds on board.
We headed out to the spot he had luck in the past and we were on the fish pretty fast.
It was our first time doing a trolling fish expedition.
It didn’t take long for us to start reeling in the fish. By time the day had ended we were maxed out on our Michigan allowance for walleye. We also caught and kept some nice yellow perch. Another nice thing happened, l was able to land an unexpected Smallmouth Bass. We weighed it on board and it was a 4 pounder. Biggest one I have ever landed.
We came back to the marina and Captain Earl was nice enough to clean and filet the fish.
Overall, it was a great experience for all of us. The boys were so happy at the end of the day.

What it boils down to is knowing where they are and how to catch them. If you are looking and wondering choose Captain Earl he is the best.
