This was an absolutely fabulous experience.  It was my birthday present to myself.  I invited two of the men from church to accompany me.  I am 70 I am the baby of the bunch but Mike took good care of us.  He put us on the fish and at times he almost needed roller skates to keep up with the action.  This is a fishing trip that I will never forget.

Captain Mike was great!  Five minutes after leaving the dock we were catching fish.  We caught 11 the first hour and 36 overall.  Nothing big but we were active and Captain Mike was engaged with and endless bucket of bait.  We returned most of the catch to the water, but a great day for three generations of men to get out….. it was freakin’ cold though.  Thanks C. I purchased this trip as a birthday gift for my boyfriend who’s always wanted to catch Stiped Bass! Not only did he succeed in that, but he caught hybrids, white bass, and I reeled in a catfish! From start to finish, this was my best lake fishing experience and I’ve been fishing 56 of my 66 years on earth. I took my oldest son on a true bonding trip. Along the way, Capt. Cy pointed out eagles and other water birds. He skillfully put us on top of schools of fish several times in 4 hours. We caught more than a lot of stripe, hybrid and white bass. My boys wanted to fish but none of us had ever been fishing before. Luckily I found Captain Cy’s Extreme Stripers guide service. We got a fun, though introduction to fishing on Lake Altoona.
