Capt Matt was great. He made sure to keep us on fish for the whole trip. This is our second time out and canโt wait to go again. Highly recommended!
Our group took a Half-Day Morning trip with Captain Cy. He brought a wealth of knowledge that helped us reel in fish all morning. I would highly recommend Extreme Stripers.
From start to finish, this was my best lake fishing experience and Iโve been fishing 56 of my 66 years on earth. I took my oldest son on a true bonding trip. Along the way, Capt. Cy pointed out eagles and other water birds. He skillfully put us on top of schools of fish several times in 4 hours. We caught more than a lot of stripe, hybrid and white bass. We even caught caught largemouth bass. This was a labor day weekend 4 hour trip that was as productive as a 2 day trip. Thanks Capt. Cy! Weโve shown pictures to others and the will be booking also. My boys wanted to fish but none of us had ever been fishing before. Luckily I found Captain Cyโs Extreme Stripers guide service. We got a fun, though introduction to fishing on Lake Altoona. He was really patient with answering all my 8 year oldโs endless questions and we all learned enough to catch (with help) A LOT of fish- so many we had to put most of them back.
My teenager said he had a great time and that fishing was even better than heโd imagined. Being outdoors on a beautiful lake with your family for a few hours away from the screens is an awesome way to spend the day.

I canโt recommend Capโn Cy and Capโn Derek enough. Second trip with them and caught monster stripers each time. See you soon!!!
