Beautiful location and lake. Fishing was fantastic caught walleye, northern pike, and crappie. Son caught impressive 13 3/4โ crappie.
This trip was for a family vacation. My father in law, husband, and 9yr old son were looking for a fun fishing expedition and Captain Mike delivered. He was incredibly patient with our son who has limited experience with fishing and was a great coach to all along the way. They caught a ton of fish and have great pictures to show for it. Mike was friendly and easygoing and was very good at communicating/responding to messages. He sent us specifics on the trip/address, videos on what to expect/bring, and provided reminders as the day got closer. My 9yr old had such a great time that he said he wanted to go back again the next day and just go fishing for the entire vacation. It couldnโt have gone any better. Thanks, Captain Mike!

More than happy with this trip for our first fishing charter. Mike was a fantastic captain with a wealth of knowledge for technique and more. My 11 year old caught about a dozen walleye and 2 pikes. It apparently was considered a slow day compared to what they usually pull in, but the smile on my kids face said it all. Mike was personable, kind, and we felt right at home on the water with him for 5 hours.
Matt & Cory are extremely helpful with knowledge in guiding with their equipment and techniques for condition of the river & weather.ย Both exceeded the three of us expectations and gave knowledge to help us acquire our own gear.ย Definitely will be booking another wading guide with them in the future and hope to run into them on the river with the knowledge they provided us.ย The will and passion they bestowed to land us some fish, was remarkable, and stuck it out as long as we could to land us three some trophyโs.

We came from Iowa to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan for the first time. We booked Mike for a 5 hour walleye fishing trip on our last day. It was great.ย We caught more than 30 fish (catch and release). It was the best day of the entire trip.ย Mike was professional and prompt.ย Highly recommend this service and Mike.ย Best time ever and I caught a 24โ walleye.ย My wife never likes to fish but even she caught fish and had a great time.
