It was a rainy gray day, but that just added to such a successful trip. Captain Larry and his shipmate Bailey were inviting from the moment we met and just had an instant feeling that they were gonna find fish and we weren’t wrong.  We started with catching mackerel for bait and proceeded to catching stripers. Larry moved us a couple of times till we hit pay dirt in the river near the shipyard.  I think we had caught our quota within a couple hours of being out there.  They helped in every aspect to ensure we got a fish from making sure our bait was fresh to helping with casting, sharing pointers on how to reel the fish in and being there immediately with the net. It was a perfect family outing and would recommend for any level of expertise.  We ended the day with a great fried striper meal.  We would love to do another trip down the road and highly recommend anyone to do so.  Thanks for providing a great memory!

Captin Larry knows what he’s doing! We did the 8 hour trip, and right after a short saftey briefing, we were heading out into open waters. A little over an hour later, he gave us a quick demonstration on how to use the reels and we were off to the races! We couldn’t get them in the boat fast enough! He and his deckhand were super helpful in baiting the hooks, taking fish off the lines, and fileting them while keeping them on ice for us. They answered every question we had about all the fish we were catching and even steered the boat off course so we could get a closer look at some whales playing nearby! A+ service, I even booked my next outing with them before we were even off the boat! Can’t wait!

Our family had an unforgettable day on the water with this top-notch charter fishing boat in Maine! The crew was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure everyone had a great time. We caught plenty of haddock, redfish, and even a few big cusk, which made for an exciting and rewarding trip. Caught 11 monster stripers. Most were over 40” and largest was 50”!!!!!

Larry has the magic touch.  Did a half day inshore charter with a couple friends and Larry’s Sea Time charter.  In heavy thick fog, somehow Larry found a school of pogies.  There were boils of stripers feeding on them, like nothing I have ever seen in my life.  3 times we had 2 fish on the line at the same time.  Eventually many other boats showed up at the same spot one they saw what was going on, but Larry was clearly was the leader. So much fun!

It was my second charter with Larry.  First time my son caught a 46”.  I actually have my own boat in Kittery but I’ve done charters with Larry so I can learn how to fish the local waters from him.  He’s an entertaining guy, with a lot of local knowledge, and is happy to teach if you are interested.
