I highly recommend Hound Dawg Charters! My family went on a full day fishing charter August 6. Seas were rough in the morning due to a recent tropical storm. Captain Rick and First Mate Eddie were top-rate! Rough seas or no, they took us out trolling and we caught a tuna on the way out. Rick and Eddie repeatedly found great places to fish and we ended up busier than a one legged man in a butt kicking contest! We brought back about 30 gorgeous mahi mahi, even when other boats were having trouble finding the bites. Eddie worked non-stop- either helping us hook our fish or restring new bait to help the next trip out. Rick and Eddie have been doing this a long time and their expertise shows. They are knowledgeable, and willing to share stories and information. Super nice to talk to. The boat is wonderful as well- very comfortable and roomy, and well appointed. Gear is top-notch.ย We are planning our next trip already (will be looking for sailfish in the winter) and will definitely go with Hound Dawg!
