I booked my first ever offshore fishing trip with Captain Bill. Great experience and great Price! We set out early, there was still a think layer of fog over the water. We could not see more then 100 yards. Captain Bill smoothly navigated us through the fog. We arrived at a pre determined fishing location he had in his GPS. We fished for a few minutes then moved to another location close by.  Eventually the fog cleared, the water was flat, and conditions were excellent.  I had no prior offshore fishing experience.  Captain Bill was very helpful and gave great instruction.  We dropped our lines for bottom fishing in about 70 feet of water and didn’t get a bite so Captain Bill moved the boat and found an area loaded with fish and using the I-pilot to keep us on the fish. I dropped my line a second time and BOOM! I hooked a monster fish (200-300lbs). The fish was on the line for almost 4 hours (3 hours 50 minutes). One hell of a fight. Then my 6/O circle hook broke in half! We believe the fish was a goliath grouper. Captain bill put new hooks on my line and I dropped my line again. Another BIG fish! 45 inch Redfish! We continued fishing until sunset and caught 10 13inch+ Black sea bass. Trigger Fish (keepers) , and Red Snapper. Overall the trip was an excellent experience for a great price. Nothing beats cleaning and eating fresh fish! I’m hooked! Going again soon! I would recommend Captain Bill to anyone!
