Great fishing trip with Captain Kevin in the back bay of Grand Isle. We slammed the trout both days (two back-to-back 6 hour trips), but only one day was easy. Captain Kevin had to show off his skills the second day, but without a doubt, managed to find the fish. While we were mainly targeting Trout since those were primarily in season this time of year, we caught a flounder, a sheeps head, and a beautiful bull red, which unfortunately we couldn’t keep because of the new LA bag regs. We had such a great time fishing with Austin he was so helpful. We caught a couple red fish which were huge and that was a first for us! It was so exciting dragging them in the boat! Along with the red fish we also caught a few trout, and some catfish. I would definitely recommend this trip to anyone looking to have an enjoyable time out on the water!
