Great trip with Captain Ray! I realized a week before our trip that I accidentally booked labor day weekend. Captain Ray called me the day before the trip and was honest about the boat traffic and fishing not being great because he didn’t want to take me on a trip that may not be successful, which I greatly appreciated. We decided to go anyway because I had family traveling for the trip. Despite the waters being busy Captain Ray found a spot where the reds were going CRAZY. If he can find reds biting like that on a busy day I can’t imagine what’s it’s like on non holiday weekends. DEFINITELY need to give Captain Ray a call if you’re interested in going out. You won’t regret it.
