It was a dream come true fishing with captain Joe and his great deck hand. Being from Ireland and growing up seeing fishing for stripers on TV it’s always been an ambition of mine to catch a big one when visiting the states. Joe put us on the fish with a 45lb fish the best of the day . We had lots of takes and landed plenty of fish , we kept a couple and released the rest to fight another day . Fish Tails Charter out of Winthrop, MA. Is amazing! Capt. Joe and Artie did it up for me and my son! First class all the way! The extra effort they put in before we arrived paid off in huge fish ways!! We not only caught some mackerel for bait which was crazy fun, but some massive stripper. Capt. Joe and Artie knew all the spots and what the fish loved. Could not have asked for a better time. We will 1000% book them again when we make another trip to Boston!! Thanks Capt. I didn’t have a lot of time but had high hopes. Not necessarily to catch a multitude of fish but to create memories with family on our trip to the Boston area. Captain Joe of Boston Fish Tales is an amazing man. He sensed what we we were really after and helped make it happen. He had the bait ready and a plan in mind. He worked hard to make this a fantastic day. We did create memories…and, yes, we caught a lot of awesome fish.

These guys are the REAL DEAL! My four friends and I did 5 hour morning trip and had the time of our lives. Captin Joe and his partner Arty had us on the stripers all morning. All of us caught 2/3 stripers each! It was a ton of fun and Captin Joe brought great energy! But over all great time and would recommend to anyone that’s looking snipe some stripers!

The crew could not have been any better we found the fish right away and the captain and mate were dialed in on all aspects of the trip, we had a stroke victim on board and they went above and beyond to make him feel safe and comfortable I will definitely be back
