Had a great fishing experience with Capt. Robert! Although the day was a bit windy, it didn’t stop us from catching fish. Robert was kind and helpful while using his electric reels, which I had never used before, and proved to be very useful and effective, as we caught several kinds of fish, including a very big conger eel, moray, big red snapper, scorpionfish, sea bream… I highly recommend fishing with him! Great day with Robert and first mate Javi. I am also a charter Captain in Boston, Massachusetts and fish for Bluefin Tuna so can say with authority that Robert is very knowledgeable Captain when it comes to finding and catching Bluefin Tuna. We fished for bait, trolled out to a location that he knows very well and was productive. We chummed and the fish came just as he predicted and we hooked up with a giant. We were targeting the most likely fish in the range of 50 kilograms, so we were using lighter line as they tent to be line shy, but we got lucky (and unlucky) because a giant tuna took the bait and broke the leader. As I have much experience fishing for Bluefin, this is not an uncommon occurrence, these are big powerful fish and test the best of equipment and perspiration and the the equipment (Shimano Tiargra 80W), line and crimps are all top notch. Captain Robert was happy to talk to me about Barcelona and Spain in general and is very personable and bilingual. Highly Recommend!

We absolutely had a wonderful time deep sea fishing on Robert’s boat. I loved how he explained what everything was, what we need to do and why. When times were slow in between catches we would have great conversations with Robert and his Mate. Most Of all, I proposed to my girlfriend and had their help with video and pictures as proposal was happening. It was so special and thanks to Robert he made even more special.
I highly recommended booking with him. You will have a blast and memorable time. No matter what you catch out there give these men tips. They deserve it.

It was our first experience for sea fishing. We travel with children and small dog and captain Robert and his wife were very welcoming and make this day great for us. As the say was still we haven’t catch really big fish but there were some dorada and similar fishes and it was enough for several dinners. It was really nice and sunny day and thanks to captain Robert - he suggested to move our booking to one day ahead for better weather. He and his wife also helped with everything and provide us really insightful information about local fishing traditions. For us as a first time or amateur fishers it were really great.
