We feel so lucky we were able to fish with this guide! Tyler’s equipment, boat, and service was top notch. The entire day was great from start to finish! We caught some great fish and Tyler kept us rigged and fishing the entire time! My husband caught his biggest trout ever with the best tips and guidance from Tyler. His wife even had pizza ready for us on the boat (warm) and it was so good!  Every detail was thought out and he offers guest the BEST experience.

As soon as I learned about Fishin’ with Gordo, I knew my husband would want to go. I reached out to Tyler right away and reserved our spot.

Tyler’s communication was excellent from day one.
Because we were on a long road trip, I appreciated that.
He called the day before to give us our meeting place and time. (This changes day to day depending on how the fishing is)
We arrived to find Tyler waiting to take us to our launch spot.
We were on the water within minutes of launching and fishing a few minutes later.
Tyler’s knowledge of the river and of fishing in general was very impressive.
He told us where to cast and he was spot on.

We weren’t just fishing, we were catching!
Even the little fish were fun to reel in.

I felt bad for the other boats on the river as they watched us reel in fish.  (I never did see them catch anything when they were nearby)

The boat is a work of art. It’s not only sharp looking, it’s comfortable.

Having Tyler put us on fish and take care of everything from setting up the poles to netting the fish and placing them in our hands for pictures was awesome. We may need a guide every time we fish from now on. 🤣

Icing on the cake was the heater. It gets cold on the water even on a warm day.
And the homemade pizza!!! Who gets warm food on a float boat? Tyler’s clients!

Captain Tyler was awesome and made our first fishing trip an incredible experience. He was so patient with my impulsive, teenage son and made him feel so confident on the boat. We live in CA, so if we go fishing near home we are afraid that Tyler raised the bar for all other guides. Can’t wait to get back to OR and get out again with Captain Tyler! We had a blast, I highly recommend booking his trip!

Tyler was amazing, we caught a lot of fish out on the river as well as catching invasive species and feeding it to the eagles I couldn’t have asked for a better time of your looking for a good guide on the rogue river Captain Gordon is the guy to see!
