My wife and I have been on at least 20+ fishingbooker.com charters in Mexico, Belize, Italy, Greece, Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, and throughout the mainland U.S., including 3-4 expensive trips that were total busts with 0 fish caught. This trip was one of the best ever. At 6am, the captain met us at entry gate to marina and walked us to ship, where they had a spread of hot tea and coffee ready for us to sip on whilst we made our way out to catch bait. Captain and crew worked hard every minute to make sure we had plenty of live bait (stealthily catching bait during any downtime or while we were busy fighting fish). I specified that we’d like to catch some grouper, and captain obliged and took us to a spot where we were able to catch 4 tasty, orange-spotted grouper. Then he took us to tackle the King Barracuda. I was very skeptical, having caught (unintentionally) barracuda in nearly every country we’ve ever fished, but HOLY COW!!!, this was so different. We were fishing massive sized King Barracuda, using fairly light tackle, catching one monster after another (with a few runts here and there), our reels were screaming almost nonstop for hours on end as line was stripped out, losing rigs to their sharp teeth, and we ended up landing 19 Barracuda, including 5 that were over 4ft in length and maybe 12kg, not to mention fighting and losing another dozen monsters we got to the boat but which were lost as the crew was trying to gaf them. Wife and I were ready to tap out after 3 hours, but the captain insisted we keep fishing, and we happily obliged. They cooked up the final barracuda and grouper for our lunch as we made our way back to the marina, where there was a long line of needy and hungry folks, to whom the captain blessed with the rest of our catch. It was a wildly successful trip and wonderfully fun adventure, but all thanks to the very hard-working crew and knowledgeable captain. Highly recommended
