To start, Captain David was very quick to respond with any questions I had. The booking process was extremely easy and they arrived at the location right on time. Started the day catching a barracuda within the first 45 minutes followed by 3 tuna and an additional 2 tuna. David and Alan were so friendly and answered all the tourist questions we had 😆. My father in law got a great nap inside the cabin so apparently the interior is very comfy. Both of our kids got seasick but Alan made it seem like no big deal and knew exactly what to do to help them feel better.  A few hours in, I asked Captain David if he had ever caught a shark. His response: “No… we don’t really have any sharks here. It’s very rare.”  What happened not more than 5 minutes later? What Captain David and Alan thought was a HUGE tuna on the line was actually a SHARK!  It was so exciting for us and for them!  We had an amazing experience that we will remember forever and will definitely book again next time we’re in Curacao!

Our family of 5 fished a 6 hr trip with David and his mate.  They worked hard to get us on a nice Sailfish, Blackfin Tuna and Yellowfin tuna!  Kids were excited to see dolphins swimming with the boat. Amazing sites trolling along the Curacoa coast and out to the 8 mile buoy!  Nice clean boat and great company!  They were very helpful with our children!  David sent us to a local Tiki to have our catch preparred fresh, doesnt get any better!  We fish in the Florida Keys and Cabo regularly and these guys are top notch!  Just book it!

Just got done with an amazing full day trip with David and crew, highly, highly recommend! I’ve been on 20+ deep sea fishing trips in my life and the crew here is at the top. Not to mention we caught 15 fish in 7 hours of including 12 Mahi, several of them being very good sized. You will be more than happy booking with these guys, highly recommend!!

Captain David did an excellent job putting us on fish. There was action throughout the whole day. Allen is a top notch deckhand with a lot of knowledge keeping lines out for the people on board.  We enjoyed all of the conversations as well as landing fish. Totally recommend booking with these guys anytime!  Great crew, great equipment, and great time!

Came to Curacao for a wedding in early-Mid January, 2025, and booked a 6 hour trip on the Wazapap. We targeted Marlin, but would gladly take whatever was biting. Captain Dave & first mate Alan are smart, knowledgeable & fun anglers. They put us on the fish and we all had fun doing it.

It was a bit of a slow day, but no fault of the Captain & crew. The birds were working and the bait was jumping for most of the day, & we were trolling right on top of them. Captain Dave put us on the fish, they just weren’t too eager to bite.

We connected with two marlin. One we lost right away, and the second one (which was BIG- it pulled out almost all the line on the reel in about three minutes), we lost because someone in our charter accidentally adjusted the drag too loose. Had we listened more closely to first mate Alan, who gave very clear instructions, we likely wouldn’t have lost the fish.

Bottom line…even if you are experienced anglers, which most of us were, that doesn’t mean you are familiar with their equipment. Listen to Dave & Alan. They know that they are doing and know their own equipment best.

It was still a great day on the water and we would definitely come back again.

Dave & Alan supply the beer, soda and water, but heads up, you will need to bring whatever food rations you want throughout the day. And if you can, try to pay in cash, as there is a 5% credit card fee.
