Cap’n Taylor went all out to work with marginal weather and ensure we enjoyed the trip and caught fish. I was able to catch the biggest, baddest fish ever ... an almost 4’ Red Fish and also a flounder we had for dinner… YUM. We caught multiple flounder, just under size and multiple Red Fish, too BIG to keep. :( But we fought the good fight and had fun with the catch. Good thing one of our guys bailed out. The boat is barely big enough for 3 men to fish comfortably. Never even fished outside of the harbor. Putted around in the harbor half the day due to him having motor issues that he knew about before booking us. Then lost a couple of big fish due to light tackle. Fishing with a bait fish rod (bass spinning reel). He didn’t want to take us out because he didn’t want to break down. Really was a ridiculous experience. False advertising 6 person fishing boat.... More

I would like to apologize for the weather being really bad and wind blowing like crazy and was too rough to go into the gulf. Sometimes we fish with light tackled to make the trip more fun.We have caught 40pound red fish with light tackle. We have plenty of fishing rods and room on boat as it is a 6 pack boat that is 26ft long. Taylor is a very nice gentleman. I hope he does put this money into the motors as they did not run half the time and felt as if they were going to fall off the rest. We started by going and buying bait. I’ve never done that on a charter and the shrimp were small and not so many. We dock fished in the harbor caught some small fish. The weather was not bad. I emailed a few days before and asked if we could keep it within 7 miles or inshore. We kept 8 fish and probably should not... More

I would like to apologize for your trip not going as planned. The water in the gulf had been rough and not too good of fishing when like that. Sometimes bait is bought and sometimes it is caught depending on where you are going. I would also like to apologize for the engines not running so good as we are always doing maintenance to help provide the best trip possible.
