Came out for my kids birthday. After a 30min ride to the spot we were on the fish as soon as we stopped. The current was rough but the boat was solid. I say that because we had to move a few times as we got pushed out of position but the Capt got us right back in the fight. We were only 2 shy of our limit which was great considering it was choppy. It wasnt our day for a big payload. But it wasnt because due to any fault of the Captain and First mate Candace. They went above and beyond in time to give us every opportunity. Our 11yo son got most of the fishing action. Our other 9yo son was trying not to call Ralph. But we got some red snapper…..Very tasty…

From start till finish, Captain Donnie and Candice made our trip excellent. First communication leading up to the time of the trip, TOP NOTCH, all questions we had plus info we needed, Donnie answered. During trip pleasant to meet and talk with. Equipment cleaned maintained. Knowledge and explanations spot on. We understood fishing isnt guaranteed, but Captain put us on fish and Candice and Captain kept bait on hooks and process flowing smoothly. Enjoyed a half day red snapper fishing with Donnie and Candace. Caught our limit in under 2 hours. Donnie is personable, efficient, a good communicator, and most importantly, knows the water of south Alabama and the fish. Candace is a great deckhand. Together they are a terrific team offering a great day on the water and catching fish. We’d book them again.
