We cannot say enough good about Captain Mark! The weather was perfect, and Captain Mark did everything he could to get us on fish! The fishing for every boat he talked to while we were out on the water was super slow, many boats didn’t catch anything, and some captains gave up early, but not captain Mark! He did everything he could to get us on fish, and he exceeded our expectations! We kept 5 fish, and probably caught 15 others that were too small to keep, but the girlfriend and I were having a blast catching fish, no matter the size and enjoying all the beauty that is Crystal River and the Bay! Great day on the water with an excellent captain, will recommend to every fisherman I know that has a Florida fishing trip in mind to book with Cast N Reel!

Captain Mark was a good guide. Even though it was very windy and the waves were very choppy, he kept us in place when we needed to and had us drift through certain parts of the bay. He got us on some fish. It was my son’s 25th birthday and he was pumped that he caught a variety of fish. Trout, flounder, sea bass, mackerel, pompano, and sheephead. Good conversation. Cold water and Gatorade. Cleaned the fish quickly, and made recommendations on how to cook them. I’m using him again.

To start Captain Mark was fantastic. My wife and I had a fantastic time. To start we limited out on keeper sea trout with in the first 2 hours, and had a number of shorts. Then we switched to more bottom fishing, and caught an incredible number of fish, would have been more if the Mangrove Snappers hadn’t figured us out and kept stealing the bait. But as a bonus I caught a red Grouper on light tackle that was a fantastic experience, and my wife had another one on that dragged her under the boat and she broke off. We are totally happy with all the fish we caught, and Captain Mark kept us on the fish all day. If I’m coming back again I’ll make sure I book with Cast and Reel again.

My two sons and I enjoyed a great time on the water with Captain Mark. We caught 12 different species on the day and made some awesome memories. Captain Mark got us to the fish and even though things were a little slow overall, we kept catching some. Other boats that we’re communicating were not having much luck but we ended up with plenty of fish in the cooler. Thanks Captain Mark for a wonderful day on the water.
