Hire Dustin and Justin. Booked a month in advance and had to fish that specific day, water is up 15+, a little off-color, and the fish are scattered. Rough fishing reports from all the marinas. Brought my fishing felon, 12 yr old that holds his own.
Rolled out at 6:30 like a bottle rocket aimed at your buddy, a little 70mph to the main vein. First spot showed a little life with a respectable smally (target fish) and some spots. Moved on to a dock holding buku basses. Started flipping, pitching, casting, and (new skill unlocked) slingshotting all the spotties from cover.
On to a point that was holding spots like a redhead. Whacked em at 20’ over the point.
Then to a single standing timber that was lit up like the Griswalds at Christmas. Cast past, count to 10 and rake in the goodies at 25-30’.
Another dynamite spot? No way. Yes way. Hit a bridge piling and caught green hyenas at will.
My son learned all about the lake, the lures, the electronics and the fish. We had an absolute blast when all the reports were ugly.
60+ bass. Forgot to mention my largemouth.
Dustin and Justin are the real deal.

Captain Dustin is a first-class professional fishing guide with flawless knowledge of the region and conditions. When the weather is and the conditions are less than perfect, Dustin just doesn’t give up, he does produce fish. We spent 4 hours with Captain Micham and there were 3 adults on the boat with him.  We had a good day on the water and caught some nice fish!  His use of Live Scope was very helpful in finding and caughting fish.  I would recommend booking Captain Micham and his boat for any and all fisherman.

Let me start by saying this was our first guided fishing trip and it didn’t disappoint. The boat was clean and Dustin had everything we need to get to the fish quick. We primarily fished brush piles with worm and swim bait.  The fish started slow but Dustin was very knowledgeable of where to find the fish and moved spot to spot until they were hitting. We initially booked a 2 hour trip, but as the day started slow Dustin kept us on the water for an extra two hours at no expense until the boys started bringing in fish. The day ended with two tired boys full of smiles. Can’t wait until we get back In the area to book again. Thanks for a great day, Dustin.

Dustin did a great job making sure we (my 10 yo son and his 50+ yo dad) were comfortable and having a great time.  My son had the lucky rod all day long, but that is a normal trend when we fish.  Dustin took us out early on 4 July and our fish count was strong, until boaters woke up and got on the lake.  But the increase of activity did slow up Dustin’s focus on getting us on fish.  It was a great day. 
Also nice, Dustin made sure we experienced 3 different types of fishing (bait, plastics and a large spoon) and talked us thru the techniques and logic behind each method.  It was a great start to a holiday weekend.  We will be back, maybe in August for Walleye and April for the great seasonal fishing.  Thank you Dustin!  Had a really great time!
