Thank you for your review Carl even though it seems you were disappointed with your trip.  We take great pride in providing our guests an experience to remember.  The slow boat you are referring to runs on 2 deisel engines: the boat is not made for speed racing on the water.  It takes about 35-45 mins to reach the fishing spots for our half days.  I did go a little further in order to accommodate you with catching fish; which you were catching fish non-stop.  Unfortunately, we do not control the laws on what you can and can not keep.  As far as the seating arrangements, most deep sea boats are not equipped with seats as most stand to bottom fish.  However, in the cabin where you sat I do have portable benches to be moved out onto the deck to accommodate my handicap customers.  I’m not sure where the 550 dollars came from but you did not tip my mate and I discounted the trip due to knowing you were upset about not catching what we normally catch on a 12-14 hour trip.  During this time of year due to the water temp our 100 lbs sharks don’t show up until June.  I always encourage anyone who has questions to call or send me a message in order to avoid misintepreting each different trip and what is caught on those trips.  I take thousands of people fishing on my 3 boats, many of which are repeat customers year after year.
