Hey Daniel, sorry you were not happy with your experience.  Seems to me from your review that you thought you were booking on a larger offshore boat like you had done the previous 5 trips.  My advertisement is very clear and has all the Specifications of my setup but maybe in haste you overlooked the specs of my boat.  You said a few untruths in your review that I need to call you out on.  See the screenshot of our first contact, no mention of booking or paying for an offshore fishing trip, just the mention of mackerel which we usually catch right near the jetty.  June 14 was a windy day and it was rough but I have been out in a lot worse and the 25’ DLV Carolina skiff can definitely take it. Super sturdy and super safe boat.  I was happy for you to give up on the mackerel mindset and be willing to go backwater. I remembered you wanted fish to eat and that is why I targeted flounder (Yummy).  From what I remember 3 keepers and 8 shorter throwbacks.  Not bad for the dirty water and windy conditions we had that particular day.  Sorry I was running a few minutes behind that morning.  We left the dock at 7:05 and back at the dock at 11:10.  If I leave the dock late I always make it up on the backend.  I would never come in early except for impending storms, and if that happens I do not charge full price.  We spent 20 minutes cast netting for mullet which is longer then it normally takes me.  We went into the ocean a little ways then back 2 miles to fish for flounder.  Getting the lines in the water by 8:00 was pretty good since we had to go to plan B because of foul weather.  Your kids were really nice and respectful, not kids that I would snap at.  Seems like we had two very different views of the same trip.  Well at least in the pictures you and the kids seem happy like people who got their moneys worth.  A picture is worth a thousand words. Sorry if I offended you in any way that made you want to put me and my business down.  Schedule your next trip on a calm day and I will take you out to get some Mackerel. Captain Ryan.

Hey John,  Sorry the trip did not meet your expectations. My prices are 10-20% less than my competitors.  Sometimes the bait fish just do not cooperate and it takes a little longer to get them.  I have had a lot of positive feedback from my customers on my seating and pulling crab traps.  What is great about Carolina Skiff is that it cleans up so well with just a splash of water.  Here are some 5 star photos from your 3 star trip.  Come back anytime and I will put you on the fish again.
