Werner Ocean Adventures was a great experience for the family.  I was able to take all five of my sons ages 5 to 17.  We went four miles out in the ocean.  Captain Ryan knew all the hot fishing spots.  He kept all the gear and bait ready to go.  The boys had a great time and was entertained the entire trip.  We pulled up crab cages up loaded with crabs, threw nets at schools of minnows for bait, caught fish at the bottom of the ocean floor.  It was a trip loaded with adventure.  This is... Captain Ryan is knowledgeable, friendly, and will provide a great fishing experience! We caught our own bait and even though we went later in the season, we caught several fish, including a 40ish lb Red Drum and a shark! It was an awesome experience, accompanied by perfect weather. Took my two young boys for a first experience. Great trip. Captain was easy going and knew the spots. He set the kids up to catch as many fish as possible. Would recommend him.

Awesome trip with Captain Ryan. Highly recommend! We did everything from catching our bait, checking crab traps, and putting our crew on the fish. We caught grouper, sting rays, and plenty of black drum. At one point we were on a honey hole of black drum while two other charters in the area wondering why they were not catching anything. Also great with my son…. Patient and teaching him the proper ways to fish. Werner Ocean Adventures will be my charter in Myrtle Beach from now on.
