Hats off to Captain Quinn on the 26ft Jersey Key in Key Marathon Florida. I caught my first Tarpon (on my bucket list) within 5 minutes of anchoring, and the action never stopped. My wife, I believe, caught the biggest Tarpon (hated to admit that), but the captain kept us both engaged at all times. We landed four Tarpon, I think ten got off…that’s fishing. Also caught four lemon sharks. We had to drop anchor to chase down a monster shark for at least a mile and a half, either a bull or large lemon shark, but broke off after nearly 40 minutes of fighting. I thought it was awesome for him to film my fights when I handed him my ‘Go Pro’, now I have proof of my catches and no exaggerated fish tales. A trip I’ll always brag about and highly recommend.
