While it is true that fishing success can be influenced by various factors beyond our control, it also depends on the efforts of our captain and crew to locate and catch fish. On your trip, Captain Ramon prioritized calmer waters due to the presence of your wife’s elderly mother, who may not have been comfortable in rougher conditions. Safety and comfort of our guests are always our top priorities.

Regarding the cost, we understand that you paid a similar amount to what you might have paid during the high season. We invest significantly in fuel to travel up to 20 miles offshore and compete with other vessels for the best fishing spots, even in off-peak times.

We noticed that you seemed a bit reserved and uneasy before boarding. Our crew adapts to the demeanor of our guests to ensure a comfortable experience, which might explain why they weren’t overly enthusiastic.

As for the equipment, there may have been some confusion. While our vessel might show some cosmetic blemishes typical of a working boat, our fishing gear—rods, reels, lures, lines, leaders, and outriggers—are well-maintained and high-quality. The food provided is packaged for hygiene and health safety reasons, which might not appear luxurious but ensures cleanliness and safety.

We regret that you felt the trip was not worth the money. When you arrived, we asked for feedback to address any concerns immediately, but it seems there may have been a misunderstanding. Additionally, we did not charge for an extra fishing license for a guest who didn’t intend to fish, which was a courtesy extended to you.
