Not worth the money at all.  Guaranteed fish but too small to take home.  Fished less than 10 minutes from the dock and only one place where small fish were caught.  Nice captain but the first two stops were where people were fishing from the bridge. 
This review was posted by my wife yesterday evening after visiting with us about our trip. I would not normally leave a review when the experience is was I am unable to whole heartedly recommend. That being said at shortly before 11pm last night I received a text message from Captain Max questioning why we left a bad review.
I did not respond because this is not an appropriate time of day for such a discussion. About ten minutes later Captain Max texted me again about the review. It was now about ten past eleven at night. I advised him to stop texting me and that I could address this matter during normal business hours. You would think that’d be it and that a person in this position wouldn’t continue to text someone at such an inappropriate hour; but you would be wrong. Captain Max continued to text me saying that this was HIS business hours.
So Captain Max since you are so determined to drill down on my dissatisfaction about your business here goes:
1. You contacted me after 10 pm on the night before our trip and changed the time from 8 to 10 am, then within a couple texts, you changed it again to 11 am.
2. About 930am on the morning of the trip you attempted to cancel the trip saying it was too cold for you. Of course by that time we had already travelled more than halfway and were in no position to cancel.
3. Poor communication regarding the pick up: the website indicated we would be picked up at our vehicle, but of course this is not true, this misrepresentation caused us to pay for day parking at a lot about 4 blocks away and having to relocate to a lot that is dockside at about 3 times the cost.
4. You were 30 minutes late picking us up at the dock. Your excuse was that you had to get the bait, but honestly that’s a “the dog ate my homework” excuse for a fishing charter.
5. Your lack of organizational skills were on full display during our brief adventure, let’s break them down here:
A) you forgot your Bluetooth speaker which caused us to have to swing past your place to pick it up.
B) you forgot your basic fishing gear (pliers) and your expert fishing advice to your clients was that we needed to set the hook sooner so you wouldnt have to cut off the line when the fish swallowed your hook.
C) Our trip continued to be interrupted by you running errands as we swung by a buddy’s house so you could borrow a lighter so you could smoke your Christmas Cigar.
6. Satiety: we received no pre-trip safety briefing and no life jackets were observed on the boat. Additionally, at the one location where we actually caught fish , you apparently disregarded the warning that no anchors were permitted due to an underwater gas pipeline.

I report these items as a courtesy to you and others. I do not believe it is a good business practice to harass clients in the middle of the night when you do not like the review posted. It’s creepy and borderline stalking behavior. The additional critique offered here ought to give you all the information you need to understand the poor review. Please stop blowing up my phone.
