Although the captain and crew probably mean well and show seriously amazing skills as professional fishermen there is a lack of tact in the financial aspects of the trip. There was not enough seating for four people let alone the six they allow and there was no AC in the cabin for my group to escape the heat for a minute. Might add in advertisement 20% of the almost $4,000 expected and required beforehand. The pressure to pay ahead of time with tip was unusual. The pressure to pay an addition $300+ tip several times by different crew members including the captain on top of the $300 if already gave them as a tip was unprofessional and intimidating and presented itself in their demeanor. .

The knowledgeable crew of the Backhaul know how to show you and your group a good time! Whether you want to catch meat fish to fill your cooler or knock a dream fish off your bucket list they do their best to make it happen! For me that included catching a Blue Marlin, and they made it happen! They helped me pick out the best time of the year for it and were prepared when that opportunity arose! They have great equipment and tons of knowledge of the industry! Would highly recommend a trip with them, whether it be a family and friends trip, or a corporate trip. They are happy to cater to your needs and make you feel like you got what you paid for! Canโt wait to fish again with them later this year when the sailfish bite is on!

Itโs clear Adam and Patrick know these waters. They found the fish!ย We caught mahi and tuna until our arms were too tired to reel in more fish. We took our 7 year old for his first offshore fishing trip and he is โhooked!โ He caught his first dolphin and I think we caught 12 total that day. Adam is a great captain and has a knowledgeable and fast-acting mate. We went out another time a few weeks later and caught 30+ dolphin with Captain Adam again! Great dude, keeps a very clean boat, and it was a comfortable ride all around. Canโt wait to go again!
