We had an absolutely amazing day with Sun King Charters! Captain Aaron was super cool—laid-back, knowledgeable, and just great vibes all around. We fished the reefs and had a blast catching yellowtail snapper, grouper, and even a porgy! Aaron made the whole experience fun and easy, and it honestly felt like fishing with a good friend. My two daughters and I just spent three unforgettable hours fishing with Capt. Aaron. It was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had on the water! Aaron truly made this outing special. From the moment we arrived, he was fantastic with the girls. He remembered their names and ages. He took the time to teach them how to fish, patiently guiding them through each step. His ability to connect with them was impressive, and they were both hooked from the start. Aaron’s patient expertise shone through as he untangled their lines and baited their hooks, allowing us to focus on the excitement of fishing rather than the usual frustrations.

He brought us to a hot spot where the action was non-stop—every cast yielded a catch! It was crazy action for hours. My daughters were thrilled, and their laughter and excitement filled the air. They want to go again (mission successful). Afterwards, we shared a cold beverage while he filleted and sealed up the catch. Unbelievable.

As someone who goes fishing a lot, I can confidently say that this experience stood out as one of the best. Captain Aaron was a fantastic fishing guide and provided an amazing and unforgettable experience for our family. He took us to a great fishing spot and we had a lot of success, which resulted in a very filling and delicious fish dinner for a family of six. I was impressed by Captain Aaron’s patience and attention to our needs, as we are a family with four young kids. It seemed like we were constantly needing to have new bait put on our hooks or have fish taken off. He never appeared to be put out or annoyed by our needs. We caught a nice variety of fish, including yellowtail snapper, red lane snapper, mackerel, and others. He was very knowledgeable about types of bait to use and gave us some good pointers on how to have success, as this was our first time sea fishing, and we are not experienced anglers as it is. Overall we had a fantastic fishing experience, and it left us looking forward to our next trip to the trip to the Florida Keys. I would book a trip with Captain Aaron again without giving it a second thought. we went with Aaron, he was entertaining, and more than accommodating to my kiddos 5 & 10. He let us take off our own fish and/or bait our lines if we wanted to, though he will do it all. we caught so much fish and he cleaned them all for us. He also recommended a restaurant for us to take our fresh caught &cleaned fish to too! We got to eat our catch for dinner… was great. After a few, I had to use the facilities and there was a whole bathroom on board…his boat was SUPER CLEAN and organized! I Loved every moment,  along with my husband and kiddos…. was the best experience. Also great music…. will 100% be back.
