Santee Cooper Charters 

My family was interested in catching striper. Captain Jeff took us to many spots on the lake & we although it was a tough time of the year, we caught some nice size striper that we could keep. As catfish are plentiful, Jeff also baited some rods for catfish. We were able to catch some nice size catfish also! It was a memorable day on the lake! I highly recommend Captain Jeff to anyone!!

Capt Jeff had me on fish within 20 mins of leaving the dock! The first fish of the trip was my first-ever keeper striper, and I caught 15 or more shorts. The fish of the day was a fat 29" 16 lbs striper, which beat the first one for my personal best. Three real nice channel cats, the biggest about 8 lbs, rounded out my bag. Capt Jeff really knows his stuff, and is a very personable guy. I'd highly recommend him to anyone looking for a great day of fishing.

We had a blast, Capt Jeff called me on the day before and said the best fishing was a couple hours before day break so we met him at 4 am, by 4:30 we were catching fish, the action was awesome. We caught stripers right up to about 8 am then moved and started catching catfish, all together we caught 50-60 fish between my buddy and myself. Captain Jeff really knows his stuff. will be going back again soon!!!!!

Captain Jeff genuinely cares about his client's fishing experience and getting fish! He's funny, humble, and very experienced with Santee fishing. Highly recommend!

Could not have asked for a better fishing charter. I had booked a charter with Santee Cooper Charters a few days earlier taking a chance that the weather would deal a decent hand and we weren't disappointed. Capt. Jeff was great right from the get go. Met my Son-in-law, Grandson, and myself in the parking area. Got us to the boat and within 15 or 20 minutes, had our first fish of many in the boat. My Son-in-law and I had made a bet on 1) first fish 2) most fish largest fish and we both lost out to our grandson who must have landed 25 fish himself winning all three bets. he also managed to catch 4 different species of catfish within the first few hours of the trip even before we moved into the lake. Capt. Jeff worked with him and taught him lessons that helped all of us catch a large number of fish. So many in fact, that we lost count for the day. We had decided at the beginning that we were going to only do catch and release, but i have to tell you, we would have needed a bigger cooler if we hadn't. We surely see future bookings with Santee Cooper Charters in the future. Oh, and the weather was some of the best we've had for a hot minute.

My son and I went for a striper and catfish trip with Jeff. We went to many spots and Jeff was working for both catfish and stripers which i thought was cool. We caught some but not many that day, but hanging out with Jeff himself for us kept the day really fun and great. Jeff called several times before the trip and made sure we were set. Learning about Jeff’s life as a daredevil, motorcycle racer, pilot, kitesufer and freediver was great. He strikes me as a cross between Evel Knievel and Jimmy Buffett. Just a really real and genuine person that would be great just to hang out with. Truly made a slower fishing day still a great day.

Captain Jeff was such a nice guy, and made sure we had a great time! He adjusted the trip time to make sure we could get out ahead of the bad wether predicted for later that day. He was very helpful, teaching us what to do, and making sure we all caught lots of fish! We all loved our time on his boat!

The captain knew the absolutely best spot to go, his ship was immaculate, all of his gear worked perfectly, and everybody had a wonderful time. Jeff was wonderful with my two teen boys. We cut a dozen or so catfish. I would highly recommend his charter and will definitely return. We even caught a rock.
