My brother and I drove down from the Dallas area for an early morning 4 hour trip. We had Capt. Burke as our guide. Very cool guy and professional. We started at 7am and by 9am we had already caught 5 Bonnethead Sharks, a stingray, and many other small bait fish. We were able to keep 2 of the sharks. Capt. Burke cleaned and fillet the shark for us to take home. Even though I got seasick and we had to cut the trip a bit short, Capt. Burke made the experience very worth it. I highly recommend booking with Reel Men Fishing Charter!

I met Captain Derek in the morning and told him exactly what I was looking to do - catch big bull reds. Explained that I wasn't worried about quantity of fish, keepers to take home etc.. - I was trophy hunting. Derek got it and knew exactly what to do, and also made it very fun. He's a great guy with a great company - I highly recommend sailing with Reel Men.

Reel Men Fishing Charter did a great job for my son and I today. It wasn’t the best weather for fishing (high winds, choppy waters, rip currents) but we still caught fish! Anytime you can bring some fish home to eat for dinner is a great day and in my book. Captain Jonathan went above and beyond in every way. My 7 year old son’s first offshore fishing experience and it did not disappoint. Thank y’all for making our fishing trip a very memorable one!

Jonathan our Captain he was very great he was not just the captain but he was a part of our team and he make us feel very confident, secure I am very grateful that he was our work captain he made my day and he make sure we catch something good I learn a lot from him which I will recommend him to anybody that is either their first time most of it because he is it he is who you want to learn from in your first experience of offshore fishing

This was a great experience for us provided by Reel Men Fishing Charters. First note - do the 6 hour trip instead of the 4. The time flies on the water and you'll be left wanting more. The morning was really windy so we started in a calm area, which was the best spot of the day. Captain Derek put us on the fish here both times we visited while others around us weren't catching anything. We did venture out for bigger fish, but the bite was dead and the wind didn't help. It was worth the shot. Overall, we caught 50 plus fish and put 34 in the boat, which ended up being over 5 pounds to take home. Also, the Captain can tell you the restaurant to go to that will cook your catch for you. Trust me and go to that restaurant! They cook it to perfection, you get a bunch of sides, the staff hustles, the atmosphere is great, and everyone will have an awesome time. We had scheduled the trip to happen on a Wednesday but it stormed. Meghan helped us book for the next day and made sure we had all the information and could find where we were supposed to meet up with Captain Burke. Upon arriving we got loaded up and headed out. Had great conversation and were well taken care of. Caught some big fish and enjoyed a great day on the water. When we got back to the dock our fish were cleaned and packaged and we were made to feel super welcome. Had fun interaction with more of the crew. This was my nephew and sisters first time fishing like this and they couldn't stop talking about our experience. We will be back!!!

Me and my wife couldn't have asked for a better day on the water! Even with the cold front that moved in, we tagged out on redfish within 15 minutes of fishing. The fun didn't stop there as we ended the day with a total of 13! Communication with Meghan was great from the very beginning of us booking the charter up to us showing up at the dock. Captain Johnathon took us out on the water and we couldn't have asked for a better person to do so! He was very knowledgeable and up front with expectations due to the colder weather. He was very friendly, we had great conversations in-between him making sure we had bait at all times and helping out when needed. All in all, after all the other fishing charters we looked at prior to booking, we made the right decision! Reel Men fishing and Captain Johnathan is now our go-to fishing charter in Galveston from here on out! You all were amazing and we look forward to our next trip, thanks again!

Had a great time with Captain Derek! It was fun from the moment we arrived at the dock. He was very friendly and funny. He put us on the fish right away and we caught a variety of fish. Would recommend choosing them for your next adventure.

Captain Dennis was excellent. While other boats were not catching much this day Capt. Dennis did his best to land us a catch. Besides what we were able to keep we landed a +35 pound drum as well. Capt. Dennis was very knowledgeable and personable and made the trip well worth. I would highly recommend Reel Men and will book again when in Galveston.
