Awesome way to Spend a day!

Great trip for any family. Andrew was awesome with the kids and made sure they knew what to do and helped them any time they needed. Loaded up on crabs and clams! Must do for any family wanting to get out and try something different.

    Wonderful trip

Captain Frank was very patient and kind with all the kids in our group, he was very accommodating with what we were looking to do. We brought homes tons of clams and some really nice blue fish. Everyone had a wonderful time and we would definitely book another charter with this crew.

    A must for kids!

This trip was perfect our family (3 kids ages 8, 6, and 4). Andrew is super down to earth and great with the kids. We found lots of clams and crabs. The kids will be talking about this trip for months. I cannot recommend it enough!

    Great Captain!

Captain George is a great guy! If you have young kids he takes the time to explain everything to them and couldn’t be more patient with questions that come up. We crabbed and clammed, both experiences were awesome! We will be using him again.

Clam fishing targets hard‑shelled bivalves that live in sand and mud. Anglers and foragers prize Clams for great eating and as reliable bait for Redfish, Striped Bass, Flounder, and Black Seabass. It is simple, social, and a fun way to enjoy the coast.

The most common approach is wading shallow tidal flats at low tide. People use a small shovel or clam rake to feel and dig in soft bottom. In surf zones, a clam gun, a hollow tube that lifts sand, helps pull Clams from deeper pockets.

Expect a relaxed, hands‑on outing in calm, shallow water. It suits beginners, families, and anyone who likes simple gear. Plan around low tide, wear boots or waders, and bring a bucket, gloves, and sun protection. Rinse your catch and keep it cool on ice for the trip home.

Before you go, check local rules for licenses or permits, open seasons, and harvest areas. Many places set size and bag limits, plus gear restrictions and sanitary closures. Follow local guidance on safe handling and transporting your catch to stay compliant.
