(8 Hour Trip – Fishing Experience)

    great trip

Vittorio was willing to come earlier so that we could start fishing early. Within 2 minutes of the bait hitting the bottom I had two fish on the line. He definitely knows where the fish are as well as the squid. Would highly recommend!

    (Squid Fishing-Sunset Aperitif)

Wonderful unique fishing experience with Captain Luca in Golfo Aranci !

The man knows his job perfectly ! We booked two fishing trips (one was cancelled due to strong winds). The communication was easy and efficient. He told us about the weather conditions and even went with us us out on the sea just to witness the impossible fishing conditions. He cancelled the trip and we got a full refund. The very next day we went again out and it was perfect. We catched a 40 kg tuna and a lot of squids ! I highly recommend him as a professional and as a person.

    (4 Hour Trip – Sunset&Night Fishing)

First time fishing and it was wonderful!!

We were a group of non experienced and some slightly more experienced people. The boat caption - Luke was very helpful in guiding us all. Robert, who was the main point of contact made sure all the arrangements and communication was seamless. Everyone managed to catch something and it was truly a wonderful experience going into sunset and watching the stars and coming back past midnight. I highly recommend this to all new and experienced people who love fishing

    (5 Hour Trip – Fish&Swim&Relax)

    Great Fishing / Boating experience

Captain Luka was excellent and the advice to fish after dark was perfect. We started with a swim before sunset and then headed out to fish. Caught a few small ones then once the sunset caught some large Calamari and a number of fish. An excellent afternoon/evening

Squid fishing is fast, hands-on, and tasty. Anglers love Squid for steady action, simple gear, and delicious meals. These agile Cephalopods school up and feed in low light, which makes evenings and early mornings the prime time. Families, food lovers, and first-timers all enjoy the quick pace and the reward at the end.

The go-to method is jigging with a Squid jig, a special lure with crown hooks. Cast, let it sink, then lift and drop with short, gentle pulls. Squid are drawn to light, so fish under pier lights or use a deck light to create a glow that gathers bait fish and, in turn, Squid. Light spinning tackle works well. Use a smooth drag and a steady retrieve once you hook up.

Expect lots of bites when the bite is on, with calm inshore waters around piers, jetties, bays, and harbors. Trips are usually short and close to shore, which suits kids and new anglers. Wear non-slip shoes and bring a light jacket for night breeze. Pack a small cooler with ice for your catch, a headlamp, and a towel—Squid can ink when they reach the surface. Many crews provide tackle and lights, but check what’s included before you go.

Rules for Squid fishing vary by location. Always check local license and permit needs, and confirm open seasons and harvest limits. Some areas have special gear or light-use rules. Review current regulations before your trip and follow your captain’s guidance on what you can keep.
