Growing up fishing on beautiful Lake Michigan with my dad and family friends has instilled in me a lifelong passion for this wonderful sport. As a proud local business owner, I love meeting new people and sharing my fishing experiences.
Happily married for over 35 years, I'm the proud parent of three amazing children, and I'm fortunate to have a son-in-law and daughter-in-law, along with two adorable grandsons. My son, Isaac, has taken our family legacy further— also serving as a charter captain with Getaway Charters!

Экскурсия на 6 часов (Утро) • 3 взрослыхThis was the dream fishing trip that anyone could ask for and my son, grandson and I got to experience it. Captain Dan and Firstmate Jeremy went above and beyond to give us the GREATNESS fishing trip we have ever had. We not only caught of limit of fish but caught trophy size fish in less than 4 hours. I can’t say enough other than thank you for an unbelievable trip .

Экскурсия на 6 часов (Утро) • 6 взрослых • 1 ребёнокWe went on 6 hours trip early morning, it was great experience for my kids. We were 3 teenagers, one 10 year old and 2 adults. We all really had great time and it was fun trip with Getaway Fishing Charters. I highly recommend them. EARLY 5AM LEAVING FROM DOC IS THE KEY. Dos: Carry mosquito spray, sunscreen, snacks, drinks, light meals, coolers are must. having music playlist is plus. Donts: Dont eat too much (motion sickness), dont wear cloths which are your favorite, as there might be some blood splash from fish if you are taking photos.
