Капитан Пит поймал нам Бонито уже в первые 30 минут, после чего мы вышли на троллинг за махи-махи. В итоге мы поймали 7 махи-махи и взяли на борт 5! Две другие оказались немного маловаты, чтобы их оставить, но всё равно это было невероятно весело. Капитан Пит отлично знает этот район и рыбалку в целом. Он общался с нами на протяжении всей поездки, объяснял, что происходит, и держал нас в курсе того, что мы делаем и зачем. We all took turns, and the captain made sure everyone had an equal opportunity to fish. We ended up catching two barracudas, one blue runner, one kingfish, and even a 7-foot nurse shark. Since nurse sharks are a protected species, the captain made sure we released it safely back into the water. It was my first time fishing in Fort Lauderdale, and I’m really glad it turned out to be such a lucky day. We caught a lot of fish, had a great time, and I would definitely recommend this charter to anyone looking for a fun fishing experience!

Общий чартер • 1 взрослыйThis was a great experience. I did a shared charter and got told the day before it was just one other person and myself. Ok no big deal was a little more since it was less than 3 people. The Captian was awesome, we start with drifting and all for rig get hit one after another, myself and other member of charter ended up with 6 Bonitos. Then the captain takes us to a ship check, use a Bonito as bait land a 44in Barracuda and 42in Crevalle Jack. This fishing trip was well worth it, will definitely do it again!

The blue waters off South Florida are alive right now, and we're seeing an incredible variety of pelagic game fish for anglers stepping onto the deck.
Mahi-Mahi are everywhere offshore right now. They are scattered across a wide range, so keep your eyes locked on weed lines, floating debris, and color changes. Trolling surface baits at 6 to 8 knots or pitching live baits to floating weed patches has been yielding phenomenal numbers of energetic schoolies mixed in with chunky gaffers.
If you want an adrenaline-pumping run and blistering speed, target wahoo around the full moon. They are showing steady, quality numbers aligning tightly with the lunar cycle. Hitting the reef edges and deeper ledges during full moon phases with high-speed trolling or deep planers has been the ticket to landing these razor-toothed speedsters.
Meanwhile, our tuna and bonito bite is keeping our rods bent and reels screaming all day long. Blackfin tuna are offering excellent action especially during early morning hours and when working birds diving over bait pods (vertical jigging and live-lining baits have been turning them on). On top of that, bonitos and skipjack tuna are thick in the offshore spread, providing explosive surface strikes and relentless fighting power.

October Fall Blitz and Mullet Run Action

Autumn is officially here, and that means the legendary South Florida mullet run is in full swing! Right now, our local waters are packed with massive schools of silver mullet, creating an incredible feeding frenzy along the beaches, inlets, and nearshore zones. If you want to see explosive surface strikes from monster snook, tarpon, and aggressive jack crevalle, this is the absolute best time of year to be on the water. Offshore Highlights and Family Fun
While the inshore action is boiling, our offshore trips are delivering fantastic diversity and non-stop excitement. Sailfish are starting to show up more regularly as the water temperatures begin to transition, leading to some great multiple-hookup days on the kites. We are also finding great quality mahi-mahi on our runs past the deeper weed lines.
Hands down, the highlight of the week went to our youngest angler on board, who strapped into a serious battle and successfully reeled in a hard-fighting shark! There is truly nothing better than watching a kid go toe-to-toe with an apex predator and bring it boat-side with a massive smile.

Fishing conditions off Fort Lauderdale have been steady across both the reef lines and offshore waters, giving anglers a solid variety of species to target.
Reef & Wreck Action
Bottom fishing and anchoring over the ledges have produced consistent results, highlighted by a strong mix of snapper. We have been pulling good numbers of mutton snapper, mangrove snapper, and active yellowtail snapper using live bait and cut bait. Anglers working the shallower edges have also encountered aggressive barracuda and hard-pulling jack.
Offshore & The Edge
Moving out into deeper water and working the weedlines has yielded a mix of pelagics and speed fish. Recent trips have produced solid mahi-mahi along the color changes. High-speed trolling and live-baiting on the edge resulted in active schools of blackfin tuna, bonita, and skipjack, alongside steady numbers of kingfish.

The late-summer bite off Fort Lauderdale is holding exceptionally strong right now. We are seeing a fantastic mix of high-energy offshore action out in the deep water alongside aggressive moonlit runs right along the reef edge. Whether we are pushing past the drop-off or working the structure under the night sky, lines have been staying tight and the fish boxes have been filling up fast.
Out in the deep water past the initial ledge, active schools of Mahi Mahi are holding steady around floating debris and organized weedlines. Trolling a mix of light lures and rigged ballyhoo in 600 to 1,200 feet of water has been the ticket to finding the packs. Once the fish fire up around the boat, switching over to light tackle live baits and cut bait produces fast-paced action. Anglers have been bringing home a great mix of bailer to gaffer sized fish, making for plenty of fresh fillets at the dock.
Along the reef edge, the full moon period has shifted the fishing into high gear with a solid push of Wahoo moving through. We have been concentrating along the deep reef drop-offs in 120 to 250 feet, focusing on areas where heavy current collides with underwater structure. High-speed trolling with wire-rigged cowbells and dark skirts during the early morning and moonlit night runs has yielded violent strikes. Slow-trolling live goggle eyes on planer rigs right at dawn has also been highly effective, leading to screaming drags and heavy-weight fish on the deck.
With clean water pushing in and steady current aligned right along the coast, both the offshore pelagic bite and reef trolling conditions are at their peak. Sizzling conditions off the coast have made recent charters with Good Hit Sport Fishing an absolute blast for our guests. Running out into the deep blue Gulf Stream, we located productive current rips and weed lines where trolling live baits and rigged ballyhoo yielded excellent Mahi Mahi action, putting plenty of colorful, hard-fighting fish into the cooler. Moving back in over the outer reef edges, the Blackfin Tuna bite proved electric during early morning drifts, offering aggressive surface strikes on vertical jigs and live bait for fantastic light-tackle fights. Deep over heavy structure, our anglers dropped heavy gear to lock into a giant Goliath Grouper, enduring a grueling tug-of-war to bring the creature up for quick photos before a clean release. The ultimate highlight came when a massive ten-foot Hammerhead Shark slammed our setup, ripping off long, blistering runs that tested our tackle before being safely handled and released alongside the boat. Incredible 15-Foot Sawfish Released Off

Our latest charter off the coast of Fort Lauderdale turned into an unforgettable day on the water. While we routinely target aggressive gamefish along the reefs and wrecks, this particular trip produced a once-in-a-lifetime encounter. Just a short run from the shore, a heavy bottom rig took a massive strike, and the angler on the rod immediately had their hands full with an extraordinary amount of drag-screaming power.
After a grueling battle to bring the fish up through the water column, a giant Smalltooth Sawfish surfaced right alongside the vessel. The crew estimated the incredible prehistoric creature at roughly 15 feet from head to tail. Spotting a healthy specimen of this magnitude in the clear coastal waters of South Florida is a remarkably rare event and a true highlight for everyone on board.
Because sawfish are a critically endangered species protected under strict state and federal guidelines, taking proper care during the handling process was our main focus. The fish was kept completely submerged in the water by the boat while the crew safely unhooked it. After a quick look at its impressive saw-like rostrum and a few photographs in the water, the giant swam away strong back into the Atlantic.
This trip was a great reminder that you never truly know what is going to hit the bait when fishing the waters off Fort Lauderdale.
