Entice Charters is owned and operated by Captain Scott Theis, a Florida native. Scott has been mastering the offshore and inshore waters for over three decades now and has never looked back. He grew up on the east coast of Florida, fishing the inlets and piers. Scott's repertoire includes the Fort Myers area, as well as the Everglades, Pine Island, Estero Bay, and the Bahamas. Since moving to Southwest Florida, Scott has gained all the necessary experience on the local waters.

Экскурсия на полдня (Утро) • 4 взрослыхIt was a rough day.... But a good day! Winds were out of the North probably approaching 20mph. Capt. Scott was very limited on spots he could take us because of the high winds. I requested to catch keepers we could eat. He tried putting us on some Trout in a couple spots but they just weren't biting. Seeing we weren't going to catch much trout he changed gears, moved to another spot and put Us on some SLOBS! Even tho we couldn't eat them my Kids had a blast. "I've never even seen a fish that big" they said. I highly recommend ENTICE CHARTERS & CAPT. SCOTT!!!

We landed some snook which I wasn’t aware they were out of season so we weren’t able to keep them to eat. I caught a small shark and my son caught a stingray, neither made it into the boat. Captain Scott educated us on time’s of the year and conditions for best fishing next time. I’ll definitely be using Entice Charters again if we’re back this way. A

Great fishing in the Ft. Myers area!

Fishing the nearshore wrecks off Ft. Myers is producing good numbers of cobia and snapper. Using big thread herring for bait is the key. For the snapper were chunking up the herring and pinning it to the bottom.
Inshore fishing the redfish and snook are biting around the mangrove shorelines using live and dead baits. Once the tide comes up start pitching your baits along the shorelines.

Back bays and nearshore wreck report!

With the mild air and water temps the fishing is spectacular. Redfish are biting well in the back bays in the Ft. Myers area using live pinfish and pilchards around the mangrove shorelines.
The nearshore wrecks are keeping my clients busy with catches of grouper, bonito, cobia, Mackeral and tripletail using free lined and bottom live baits. The tripletail are on the crab buoys.

Snook and redfish are hungry!

Ft. Myers area is producing great catches of snook and redfish. Cooler temps and abundant of bait is why these fish are hungry. Live pilchards and cut pinfish is the go to baits. Oyster bars and mangrove shorelines are the ambush spots. This is a great time to be on the water so get out there and enjoy it.

Fishing is great at this time of the year. We're catching snook on the nearshore wrecks, passes and shorelines close to the passes as they start their migration to the back country.
Redfish are being caught in numbers on healthy grass flats using live bait.

The redfish are schooling up on the flats while the cobia and snapper are on the wrecks. It's been a great past few trips for my clients fishing the flats and then the wrecks all in a 1/2 day trip.

Fish are happy with the warm water temps

With the warm temps and plenty of bait around the fishing is heating up. We caught redfish, snook and a mix of jacks and sharks.
