Fortuna - Big Marlin Punta Cana 

I took my wife and son out for their first offshore fishing trip and they had a great time! Eddie spoke great english and was super enthusiastic and mad it fun for bohof them! I would fish on the Fortuna again!

excellent well run operation from pick up to fiishing to drop off. caught 2 mahi mahi and had them filleted on the boat and brought back to hotel to eat. crew worked non stop to put us on fish.

The captain and Eddie were awesome.They were constantly checking and changing bait and gear. We end rhe day with some awesome Dorado and Barracud.

Captain and First Mate were very knowledgeable and knew what they were doing. Caught a good size Blue Marlin!

We had our trip canceled on the fortuna due to weather so we went in the Sherlock the day before. Very grateful they could accommodate us. It was a slow day, morning crew only caught 1 fish. Our captain did everything he could to put us on fish. 1st mate kept us entertained with historical knowledge and music. After an Hour into our 4 hr trip the captain spotted a group of Mahi ( No idea how ) and we were on. In total we caught 2 Mahi, 2 Wahoo and 2 barracuda. Great day of fishing.

Did the 6 hour trip. The boat was great size, clean and comfortable! First mate Ed was super! He moved all the time checking the lines and doing his fish calls! Waves were pretty big that day! We caught several fish! I highly recommend fishing on the Fortuna!

Excellent time! The guys were outstanding- funny, helpful, polite, knowledgeable. From the time we were picked up to the time we were dropped off, we were escorted or accompanied by at least one member of the team and we always felt safe and well cared for. They were super helpful when the younger members of our family were reeling fish in, snacks and water were available and accessible at all times. Really fantastic

We had a fantastic time from start to finish. They picked us at our hotel took us to our boat and fished most of the day. Miguel and Rosario made sure to get us into to the fish and didn’t disappoint. Would definitely recommend. By the end out of trip my husband left his visor in the van after the dropped us off. They were great at staying connected with us and brought it back to us the next day. They were great!!

My father and I booked a 6hr trip May 2024 and we had a blast. Rosario was our captain and COCO was our first mate. We had a ton of fun and Rosario spoke surprisingly well in English. The day was slow for us (2 Barracuda, 1 Mahi) however, the crew was experienced and knew what they were doing. The waves in the DR can be quite large so I would recommend not drinking too much the night prior. Also, the transportation from the resort to the boat was the best we had the entire trip!

Rosario and Miguel were amazing hosts for our family; very attentive to all of our needs! Rosario was uber quick on the reels and a great helper.Miguel was very kind and a great captain (and DJ) These two know what they are doing. Boat was great, snacks and drinks were early accessible and available as soon as we walked on the boat. Absolutely suggest this boat and crew for your Punta Cana trip.
