CaptainChip – Upstate SC Lakes 

If you're ready to start fishing in Upstate SC, we've got you covered with CaptainChip.  Captain Chip has 47 years of fishing experience in SC.

Our primary fishery is for Stripers and Hybrids.  But we also offer seasonal trips for Crappie, White Bass, White Perch, Spotted Bass and Catfish.  We will fish either Lake Murray, Hartwell, Lake Greenwood or Lake Thurmond/Clarks Hill depending on wjere the bite is best. 

We will fish with light tackle to ensure a good fight with a mix of live bait and artificial lures. 

Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own.

Your fishing machine for the day is a custom 25' Hell's Bay Estero center console bay boat with room for 6 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water. Rods, reels, and tackle are ready for you, as well as live bait/lures.

Before coming aboard, you'll need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group.

A few items to bring include bottled water, sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
