Wanchese Tilefish Fishing Charters

If you want to try your hand at both bottom fishing and trolling, join your captain on this 8-hour adventure! You'll typically be fishing nearshore for Tilefish, Seabass, possibly a Grouper, Amberjack, Shark, King Mackerel, and trolling species such as Mahi Mahi. You'll be provided with all the fishing gear you need for a productive trip, as well as a fishing license. Just bring along snacks and drinks, and make sure you wear weather-appropriate clothing.

This trip is our specialty. Fish deepwater wrecks (20 to 35 miles) and bottom for Tilefish Black Seabass, Snowy Grouper, Hake, and Amberjack. All fish is subject to federal seasonal regulations. Check for specie availability. This is not an inshore bottom trip offered by other boats. A productive trip to fill your coolers with delicious eating fish. This trip is strictly dependent on suitable weather conditions. In order to fish wrecks or bottom structures, light winds are a must.

Troll for hard-fighting mahi-mahi and wahoo, then bottom fish for tasty tilefish and black sea bass. All rods, reels, tackle, bait, and expert instruction are included for an unforgettable day on the water.

This half day trip leaves the dock at 6am and returns by 10am. You will be fishing inshore and nearshore for Flounder, Red Drum, Sheepshead, Triggerfish, and Bluefish, as well as Cobia and Striped Bass when conditions allow. A fishing license and gear are included.

On an 8-hour trip, you will focus on nearshore fishing that may include trolling for Bluefish, Spanish Mackerel, King Mackerel, and/or Cobia depending on the time of year. We may choose to venture a little further off the beach or down the beach with a fuel surcharge We bottom fish for Tilefish and Seabass, troll for King Mackerel, and or go to a tower for Amberjack at times. It is not a gulf stream trip. Departure times are flexible.

This trip typically is 15–35 miles from the inlet. This trip gives you the flexibility to target different species depending on the season and weather. You'll be fishing for Tilefish when in season, Amberjack, King Mackerel, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), Wahoo, and the occasional White Marlin or Sailfish. This is a great trip to target larger species without the pressure of a full-day offshore trip. Seasonal.

Sea Hag will be trolling for Yellowfin Tuna, Blackfin Tuna, Wahoo, Gaffer and Bailer Mahi, Sailfish, White Marlin and Blue Marlin.

The 4-hour trip is the perfect option for families, first-time anglers, or anyone looking to enjoy a fun and relaxing day on the beautiful Outer Banks waters! We'll spend the trip targeting Spanish mackerel, bluefish, ribbonfish, drum, and possibly even a cobia if the opportunity presents itself. The four-hour trip is ideal for families and novices. On this trip we'll troll mainly for spanish mackeral, blue fish and ribbon fish. This trip allows groups to experience Outer Banks fishing and allows time to get back to your vacation!
