Om du är redo att upptäcka fisket på nedre Potomacfloden, behöver du inte leta längre än Cat Daddy Fishing Charter. Kapten Gene kommer att vara din guide, så du får ta del av många års erfarenhet av sportfiske.
Du kommer att fiska efter Blå mal, vi kan fiska efter mindre exemplar i ätlig storlek och även chansa på att fånga en monster Blå mal. Du får behålla dem under 15 lbs, och de är bäst för matlagning, över det tar vi ett foto och släpper tillbaka dem.
Du kommer att fiska med förstklassiga Anvil-spön ihop med Penn-rullar med tung utrustning, bottenfiske, eller kanske något mer specialiserat för det här området.
Om du reser med familjen kommer du att vara glad att veta att barn är välkomna ombord! Om du inte har en barnstorlek flytväst, se till att fråga om det finns en ombord. Du är välkommen att ta med snacks! Jag har en värmare för vintermånaderna.
Din fiskebåt för dagen är en 24' Hewescraft Searunner med plats för 6 passagerare. Den har alla nödvändigheter som ingen fiskebåt kan vara utan. Det finns en hinktoalett ombord för din bekvämlighet. Spön, rullar, utrustning och bete ingår. Jag har en värmare för vintermånaderna.
Det finns inget behov av att köpa ett fiskekort, så allt du behöver göra är att dyka upp redo för en bra dag! Tänk på att vissa fiskar kan ha fångstbegränsningar eller stängda säsonger. Fråga bara din kapten så kan han berätta mer.
Det är alltid klokt att ta med en hatt, solglasögon, flaskvatten och solskydd (ej spray). Om du vill ta med andra drycker, fråga bara. Alkohol är tillåtet i måttliga mängder, undvik bara starksprit samt glasflaskor. Du kan ta med en kylbox som är mindre än 50 qt.

What a great day! I grew up on this river and after promising my kids for over 20 years; we finally DID it. Wife said no way, scared of fish monsters; she LOVED it. We didn’t expect to catch much in the late June spawn, but Capt’n Mumma put us DEAD on the cats, and everybody landed >10lb and a pair of near 30’s! Breaking Capt’ns record since April. He works hard doing everything for you. Just reel em in and pose after weigh-in. The wife embarked hating ugly catfish thinking they look too much like sharks. She disembarked a catfish fan and proclaimed they are very cute (we have a bulldog). 4 hours X 6 friends is a perfect outing. Bonus trip up river to DC was beautiful and made it better. I’ll be back with the boys end of August when the action heats up even more. My wife plans on booking a late evening Ladies-Night with the girls from work very soon. So should you. So take your wife and kids (or girlfriend) on a trip asap before they discover how fun and easy this is and there is no room for you. And….my adult kids said “Thanks Dad”. Thanks Capt’n Mumma, we’ll see ya soon.

Has a fantastic all weather rig. Was great and informative with the kids. Not the hottest day of fishing but that’s how it goes. Definitely wasn’t from his lack of effort and out one of my boys on his PB. 41# blue! Won’t hesitate to take another trip with him when out that way!

8 timmars tur den September 8, 2024My wife, son and myself have been fishing with gene on his boat 3 or 4 times now. We always catch fish when we go and we have a great time. He is very laid back and personable, not to mention his boat and tackle are top notch and clean. He always gives us a full day of fishing (8 hours) for a very fair price compared to most charters. My wife caught a 42 pounder on a trip a couple years back and we always catch a good amount each time we go. It’s a yearly ritual to take a trip fishing and always enjoy ourselves. Looking forward to going a couple times this year!

His trips leave memories that last a lifetime and he is a very knowledgeable person when it comes to fishing. He's very good with helping entertain the kids as well as teaching all the techniques of rigging and catching fish. I will hands down recommend him as a guide everytime. Customer friendly, and amazing prices and experiences to last a lifetime.

I have 4 trips booked for this year due to telling friends about it and showing them photos of the catch. Would highly recommend. He’s very knowledgeable and lets you catch the bait and net the fish if you want. It’s not like going for rock fish and the guides setting the hook and handing you the rod like you do a little kid. Awesome trip would highly recommend.

I’ve taken my daughters , nieces and nephew and they’ve all had a wonderful time.
