Crew was well organized and on time but we didn’t have any luck out there. Only caught a small Dorado. If you are looking for an engaged crew this is NOT the boat for you. I have been on 3 other deep sea fishing trip and the crew had been amazing and chatty. Not that exciting out there.

We had several people that were not happy to get up early and did not want to fish. About 10 minutes in everyone (five of us) said it was already worth the trip. Everyone enjoyed the whale sightings and sea lions. The crew was great and knowledgeable. They did a great job of knowing where to go and setting us up for success. We caught Mackerel, Bonita, and a beautiful Roster fish. Tip: bring food and alcohol. They have coolers for it. Fun for everyone even if they are not fishing.
Juan was a good captain and handled the boat well. The crew worked hard and communicated fairly well in english. Juan asked what kind of fish do you want to catch but not much more communication. We would have liked more information about what his plans were, where we go, and where the life jackets were. The seas were very rough that day and the fish weren't biting. He did try different bait several times in efforts to catch fish. I would recommend them as Captain Juan was great at navigating the water. Recommend you do your research and pick and choose the time of year and weather.
