You’ll be fishing from your captain’s 30’ Luhrs offshore sportfishing vessel, perfectly built to tackle the waters of Jamaica Bay, as well as the open ocean. She can accommodate up to 6 guests, so bring along the entire family, or settle some scores with your best angling buddies! On board, you’ll find a full toilet, top-of-the-line navigational gear, life jackets for all ages, a multi-media system, and outriggers for maximum fishability.

Bluefish, Common Ling, Striped Bass, Cod, Flounder, Black Seabass, Porgy, Weakfish, and more are in the cards if you come at the right time of year. On the day of your trip, you’re likely to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. Any fish within the legal limit is yours to keep. Plus, you can have your catch cleaned. Now that’s dinner!

The boat you will be fishing on is a custom-built 38’ Holland that’s powered by a 375 HP Caterpillar engine. The vessel features 3 GPS, radar, VHS, life rafts, installed fish holes, galley, toilet, heated cabin, and state-of-the-art electronics. It’s an affordable, spacious boat with both inshore and offshore capability.

These waters are home to Striped Bass, Bluefish, Bonito, Mahi Mahi, Bluefin Tuna, Bigeye Tuna, and more with any luck. You’ll target your catch by spinning, jigging, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Vinnie also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear.
