This afternoon fishing trip is the perfect amount of time to get out on the water to catch some Wild Pacific Salmon and see all that Sooke has to offer from our beautiful coastline. Our start time for this trip is perfect for the not so early riser.

Get a taste of the great fishing Fraser River has to offer on this 4-hour trip. You will chase the legendary White Sturgeon that calls these waters home and different species of Salmon. You will have all the fishing tackle you need on the boat, you only need a valid fishing licence, snacks, and drinks.

The White Sturgeon is North America's largest freshwater fish. Reaching up to 1100 lbs, they range in size from 1-13 feet in length, sometimes bigger! Once you hook one you won't want to stop! When you hook a Sturgeon, you better be prepared for an epic battle of a lifetime!

It doesn't offer plenty of time to do the most we can, but in the past, we have been able to tub out on Salmon, Rockfish, and Lingcod in 4 hours for 2-3 people. We'll stay inshore and close, so we can do all the fishing we can within that time frame. We can target everything during this time or specific species, depending on what you want.

Discover iconic fishing spots of the Ucluelet peninsula and surrounding areas. We will be targeting chinook and coho salmon. If you really want to catch fish, book an 8 hour trip!

Saltwater Salmon fishing grounds within 30 minutes from Campbell River. Guest will fish two tide changes for the best opportunities for tight lines. Fly fishing for surface feeding coho is very popular in June and July. Note: Beginning April 1 - July 14 non-retention of Chinook salmon is in effect.

Enjoy fishing on the west coast of Vancouver Island in beautiful remote areas accessible only by boat. We provide all the rods, reels, tackle, and lures from some of the best brands in the industry, as well as life jackets, drinks and snacks. We also provide catch cleaning, but flash freezing and packaging is done by our friends at Ukee Seafood (not included in trip cost). Fishing license and salmon tag must be purchased in advance.
