Sportfishing Vencedora 

We had amazing time fishing with Vencedora Sportfishing. We started off picking up some live bait then started fishing soon thereafter. The whale watching was amazing early in the morning this time of year as well. We started off hooking up with some Dorado on the troll then started live bait fishing. We caught some bonito and then hooked up with a big yellowfin tuna and some large Dorado. The captain and crew were great and as we were about to head in we saw a Marlin. We used one of the small bonito as bait and hooked up with the Marlin that put up a fun fight. Couldn't have asked for a better day on the water. They even connected me with a fish processor who vacuum sealed and froze the fish for us so we could bring some tuna and Dorado home. Great trip!

We started the day walking up to the boat where the captain and first mate speak very very little english. You have to pay $30 to another boat for the bait when out on the water. I bought our fishing licenses online while driving out of the marina, he said we could buy one at the marina but noone brought us to get one when i told him we still needed it. We started the day catching Sierra, Rooster fish and Jack crevalleI on live bait. Nino asked us if we wanted to go fish for dorado. We decided we had enough and wanted to try something else. We were able to catch 2 dorado with one being pretty nice. At about 11:30 he asked if we still wanted to keep fishing or go back. We decided we were fine going in early. I gave them a 4 star rating because we were on fish most of the entire morning. It would of been a 1 star if we didnt catch fish and couldn’t communicate. Brush up on your spanish before your next fishing trip.

Captian was on time. there was good parking at the marina and could buy your license right there. We hit the water at sunrize and were onto mahi mahi right away once finding the birds we fished live bait for tuna and got a few beauties. very experienced captain and deckhand. my wife and i only speak english and even with the language barrierit was a great comfortable trip.

Had a great day out on the water. Nino was very friendly and put us on fish right away. Between his self proclaimed limited English and my broken Spanglish we got along just fine! Caught a small hammerhead and a nice Rooster right off the bat. Had reeled in my limit of keepers by 10am, was able to catch and release several variety and different size fish. After limiting, we went Marlin Hunting! A great day of fishing but a quick point: soda and beer was not provided as stated. I didn’t care much, Nino did have plenty of water for us. I would have brought along some soda as the caffeine would have been nice to fight off the Dramamine drowsiness. So that would be my only negative comment because if I was looking to drink a couple beers I would have been disappointed it wasn’t onboard. I would definitely go back to Nino on my return to Cabo. The value for the overall trip and catch was fantastic.

This grandfather and grandson team worked hard to find fish and keep us on them. They were professional and really nice guys.The whole trip went smoothly and we had a great time!

Capt Nino was honest from the start, letting me know the fishing was slow due to the water temperature and lack of bate around. But he found fish. Great Captain, will definitely go out with him again 👏.

Been fishing with Nino many years. Always have a great time. Nino is very knowledgeable and experienced. We caught many fish and had a lot of fun. Highly recommend Nino for a fishing trip.

We took this trip on our honeymoon with my wife’s approval haha. We had a great time out on the water and this experience added some great stories to an already fantastic honeymoon. We caught one large tuna (approx 50lbs) a Roosterfish and 8 dorado. It was really nice that it was just my wife and I with the captain, who was very helpful and a fun guy to be around. The communication to set the trip up was great from the beginning and I felt like all the details were clear. We would definitely do this again when we return
