Ol' Blue Fishing Charters 

we went out yesterday 7/31 with Johnny to do the kids trip and it was an amazing trip. It was my wife and two boys 12 and 4. i wasnt sire how my 4 year old would do. At first he was unsure but from the start of the trup Johnny was amazing he made sure both my boys were included in everything he did. He taugh my oldest a good bit about rigging up fishing poles and hownto handle the fish. My couldnt stop talking about the trip the rest of the day and wants to start fishing more. He was great with my youngest and new exaclty how to keep him engaged so he could have fun. Johnmy was great all around glad we picked him to take us out fishing. We alrwady know when we come down next year we are booking another trip with him. If you have kids and want to have a great time I would 110% recommend Johnny. Thank you for making our first fishing trip in Ocean Isle a great one!!!

Captain John was awesome. My boys had an absolute blast on the charter and that’s really what it’s all about. Each of them got to feel the rush of pulling in the biggest fish they’ve ever caught, which made it even more memorable. He was great with the kids, kept things fun, and made sure they were always engaged and having a good time. You can tell he knows what he’s doing and genuinely enjoys it. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We’ll definitely be calling him again next time we’re back in Ocean Isle.

Captain John did a great job. Super friendly and very knowledgeable. Fishing wasn’t the greatest, but we did catch fish, however it wasn’t for a lack of effort from Captain John he took us to several different places trying to track them down. He spoke with several other captains on the Water on the day of our trip and nobody was catching very many fish, but that’s the reason they call it fishing and not catching. I would absolutely book another trip with Captain John.

My wife, daughter, nephew, and I booked a 2 hour kids trip with Captain John. He was absolutely amazing and really great with the kids! He tried several different spots in an attempt to let the kids catch some big fish but also to just put fish in the boat no matter how big. This kept them engaged and also kept it fun. We highly recommend Captain John!

Captain John was great on this trip. We were expecting rain and rough weather but He kept us away feom the rain and rough waterways. He was very patient with baiting hooks and helping us to get some fish in ghe boat. we hooked up with some nice founder but not able to keep them. we will definitely go out with Captain John next time we have the opportunity!.

My son, daughter In law and I had a blast! Her first fishing trip and was very skeptical about going. Once she started catching fish she was “hooked”. She said it was the best part of our beach trip. Thank you very much Johnny for making her trip so enjoyable! See you again next year!!

Best trip ever and Johnny was awesome captain!The trip stsrted slow.My son and Johnny remained optomistic. I caught the largest fish I’ve ever caught. Bull Drum 40lb and 40 inches!I would recommend this trip to everyone.Johnny will do whatever it takes to make your expierence amazing.

Captain John was great, taught my son so much about the fish he was going after and catching. he was very knowledgeable about the area that we were going snd what we were targeting. will certainly be booking with him again in the future!

Johnny was great. Fishing was slow but Johnny put us on fish. Definitely knows what he is talking about. Cought flounder and other. Johnny Took us for a ride in the ocean too. Asher loved it. Will definitely use him again

Captain Johnny was great! Very personable and laid back; the kind of guy I’d grab a beer with. He put us on flounder right away and we got 6 or 7 in the boat before moving to try for redfish. We landed 2 keepers and battled a third that broke off. Overall, a great time with a great captain.
