    (Half a day,full of fish)

    Limited Out

Great experience. We fished a couple days after a big storm, which can be tough, but fishing was great. Captain Hunter would move us to a new spot as soon as they’d stop biting and tried all methods of fishing to see what’d work. Smooth trip.

    (8 Hour Trip)

    First time trip

The majority of the anglers were first timers and had fun with captain Emilio and his first mate Zach. He put them on some fish so I know they’ll be hooked for life! All around great trip, would highly recommend to anyone going to SPI

(4 Hour Trip – Patch Reef Snapper - 8:00 AM)

My son and I had the best first open-sea fishing experience ever.

Anthony is an excellent captain. He knows his stuff, which is great for first-timers. We had a lot of fun and action. Was an amazing experience!

    (Full Day Trip)

We had a great 8 hour trip!

We had an absolute blast with Blue Runner II. Captain Tommy and Don were fantastic, friendly, knowledgeable, and great with our group. With a hurricaine looming we were worried about making it work but thanks to their flexibility, we changed days and saved the trip. Three adults and three kids, and every single one of us had a great time. We caught loads amberjack, red snapper, triggerfish, and even some bonito. Can’t recommend them enough. We’ll be back!

Red Snapper fishing is a favorite for anglers who love hard fights and great table fare. Red Snapper are bright, strong, and live around reefs and wrecks. They hit with confidence and pull hard, making every hookup exciting.

The most common way to catch them is bottom fishing, which means dropping bait to the seafloor. Squid, cut bait, and live bait all work well. Jigs also produce when you keep them near the bottom and move them slowly. Medium to heavy tackle helps you turn big fish away from structure.

Expect steady action once you find a school. Trips may target nearshore reefs or head farther offshore to deeper structure. This is a great choice for families, first-timers, and seasoned anglers alike. Bring sun protection, a hat, polarized sunglasses, and non-slip shoes. Pack snacks and water, and plan for some arm workouts when the bite turns on.

Rules for Red Snapper can change by area. Before you go, check local fishing license and permit needs. Review season dates, as well as size and bag limits for harvest. Captains often keep up with current rules, but you are responsible for knowing them. When in doubt, ask ahead and stay within regulations.
